Baltimore Classical Guitar Weddings
We wanted to give Baltimore City its own page on Classical Guitar Ceremonies Inc's website to point out some of the fun things to do in and around Baltimore during your visit. Skip to the bottom of this page to view the “things around town” links.
Classical Guitar Ceremonies Inc. has provided concert level concert guitarists for private events in every event space within Baltimore city during the 20 years it has been in business. Please feel free to contact us with any questions regarding any venues you are interested in. We are happy to share what we know. Some of our wedding blog posts highlight these venues.
Our company is based in Baltimore City. Owner Chris Dunn received three degrees from the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and has had the privilege of studying with world renowned classical guitarist Manuel Barrueco. At the conservatory, Chris formed the Aurora Guitar Quartet which developed into a chamber group that traveled throughout the United States, Canada, Costa Rica and two month long tours in Japan. The group performed at Carnegie Hall as well as other notable concert halls.
All of our events have a performer as well as a manager overseeing all the details and logistics. We are the only event company with a specific focus on Classical Guitar in the Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC area. Our process aims to make booking, planning, executing and payment for your event music seamless.
Several of our guitarists (and Ukulele player/singer) are from Baltimore City as well.

CULTURE
Mica- Art Institute/
Most of the general public doesn't know this but Peabody Conservatory hosts student and graduate level performances almost every week. Their website has a calendar of events listing all of the recitals and concerts. MOST ARE FREE! In addition to the high level of artistry many of the students demonstrate the halls themselves are beautiful. My favorite hall for classical guitar performance is Griswold Hall- With vaulted ceilings and wooden floors, the acoustics here are great for classical guitar recitals.
Peabody Library- This place is amazing. Check out this short clip on our blog. We were providing audio sound production for an event. We have performed numerous weddings at the Library as well.
